EKII is a state budget program of the Republic of Latvia, the purpose of which is to promote the prevention of global climate change by financing the purchase of electric cars and externally chargeable hybrid cars.

Within the program, you can receive support funding -

** - for a vehicle equipped with at least five seats, if it is purchased by a natural person who has three or more children under his care, including children in a foster family or guardianship and adults who have not reached the age of 24, if they obtain a general, professional or higher education or has served in the national defense service for 11 months and the person has been awarded the Latvian Honorary Family Certificate.

*** - for a vehicle equipped with at least seven seats, if it is purchased by a natural person who has three or more children in his care, including children in a foster family or guardianship and adults who have not reached the age of 24, if they obtain a general, professional or higher education or has served in the national defense service for 11 months and the person has been awarded the Latvian Honorary Family Certificate.

An additional 2,000 euros for the write-off of an existing M1 or N1 category vehicle (if a new or used vehicle is purchased)

This support can only be received in conjunction with another support activity and no later than 12 months after the issuance of the vehicle liquidation certificate of the processing company.
